Iran’s President Warns Israel: Attack on Iranian Territory Could Mean End of “Zionist Regime”

Iran President

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi issued a stern warning to Israel on Tuesday, cautioning that any attack on Iranian territory could have severe consequences, including the potential demise of the “Zionist regime”. Raisi made the statement during a three-day visit to Pakistan, where he aims to strengthen trade relations between the neighboring nations.

The warning comes amidst heightened tensions between Iran and Israel, following recent tit-for-tat military strikes. On Friday, explosions were heard over the Iranian city of Isfahan in what sources claimed was an Israeli attack, although Tehran downplayed the incident and ruled out retaliation. Earlier, on April 13, Iran launched a barrage of missiles and drones at Israel in response to a suspected Israeli strike on its embassy compound in Damascus on April 1.

Despite the tensions, Raisi reaffirmed Iran’s continued support for the Palestinian resistance, underscoring the nation’s commitment to the Palestinian people. The Iranian President’s visit to Pakistan seeks to mend ties between the two Muslim neighbors and boost trade to $10 billion annually.
